Man seriously injured in Queensland workplace incident

A workplace incident in central Queensland has left a man with severe injuries.

Ambulance paramedics were alerted to the incident in Rockhampton at around 9.10 am on Wednesday.

They arrived at the scene to assess the injured worker after his arm became trapped in machinery, resulting in a significant injury.

The man in his 30s was rushed to Rockhampton Hospital in a critical condition.

The incident is currently under investigation by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland.
