Man seriously injured in heavy machinery incident

A man has been flown to hospital with multiple injuries following an incident involving heavy machinery in South West Queensland.

The incident happened on Saturday.

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called to the incident just after 12.30pm

Ambulance paramedics transported the man to an airport in the Maranoa region shortly after the incident.

He was then airlifted to the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital in a serious condition.
