Man killed in quad bike incident south of Moree

A man has been killed in a quad bike crash in northern New South Wales.

Emergency services arrived at the scene at approximately 4:30pm on Monday afternoon.

Police reported that a quad bike was discovered flipped over on the embankment of Tycannach Creek south of Moree.

An 82-year-old man was declared dead at the scene.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
