Man killed following ride on mower roll-over incident in Hampton

A 79-year-old man was fatally injured after rolling his ride-on lawn mower in south-east Queensland.

The incident occurred around 2:45pm on Thursday while he was cutting grass along the fence line of a property in Hampton.

Emergency personnel hurried to the scene, but the man had sustained severe injuries and succumbed to them on-site.

According to the police, investigations are still underway.
