Man killed after excavator rolls in northern Tasmania

A man has been killed, and another is recovering in hospital after an excavator rolled in northern Tasmania Wednesday morning.

Police said emergency services were called to the incident at Evandale about 10.40 am.

They found the man trapped by an excavator.

He died at the scene.

Work Safe Tasmania is investigating the incident.
