Man killed after becoming trapped under collapsed oil tank at Sydney worksite

A man has been killed in an unfortunate incident in north-west Sydney after being trapped beneath a toppled oil tank.

Emergency services arrived at Eastwood around 8:45am on Tuesday after receiving reports that a man in his sixties was trapped beneath a tank.

Police arrived to find the man trapped, and despite the efforts of paramedics to treat him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

SafeWork NSW has been notified about the incident.
