Man injured by falling hay bale in southern Queensland

A man was taken to hospital Sunday evening following a hay bale incident at a property in Goombungee.

The man, aged in his seventies, suffered severe abdominal injuries after being hit by a falling hay bale.

The man was transported by air to LifeFlight’s Toowoomba base before being taken by QAS paramedics in a road ambulance to Toowoomba Hospital.
