Man injured battling bushfire in North Burnett

A man was flown to hospital after he was burnt while fighting a bushfire in the North Burnett Region on Saturday.

The man in his 50s was reportedly using a grader to construct a fire break at Old Cooranga when the incident took place.

He was flown to the Royal Brisbane Hospital by RACQ LifeFlight rescue chopper.
