Man injured after being stomped by horse in south-east Queensland

A man has been flown to hospital following injuries sustained in a horse fall in the South Burnett region.

According to reports, the man in his thirties was trampled by a horse following his fall on Saturday morning.

The LifeFlight rescue helicopter was dispatched at 8:20am and successfully landed in a field adjacent to the site of the incident.

The man was treated at the scene before being flown to Toowoomba Base Hospital for further care.
