Man hospitalised in critical condition after cattle truck incident in central Queensland

A cattle truck incident in central Queensland left a man in his 30s critically injured on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency services were immediately dispatched to a property near Bauhinia, southwest of Rockhampton, at about 1pm.

A rescue helicopter was sent to the scene to provide medical assistance to another man, who sustained multiple injuries during the incident.

The police will work with Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) to conduct a thorough investigation.
