Man hospitalised following workplace incident in Christchurch

A man was transported to the hospital in critical condition Friday morning after an incident at his workplace in Christchurch.

Emergency services arrived at the scene in Hornby South at about 8:17am.

Hato Hone St John provided one ambulance and one operations manager in response.

St John stated that one individual had been transported to Christchurch Hospital in a critical condition.

WorkSafe said it was aware of the incident and is currently conducting preliminary investigations.
