OHS Daily News

A man was transported to the hospital by the LifeFlight rescue chopper following a fall from his trail bike while mustering cattle in central Queensland.

The rescue helicopter was called to a property in the Banana region at 6pm on Saturday.

Witnesses commenced first aid and contacted emergency services.

The man in his thirties received treatment from a flight paramedic from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) along with local ambulance paramedics.

He was subsequently flown to Bundaberg Hospital, arriving in a stable condition with injuries to the face and spine.
