Man flown to hospital following farming incident in Queensland

A man was flown to hospital following a farming incident in south-east Queensland.

The incident happened on Sunday morning.

The LifeFlight helicopter was called to the incident in the Toowoomba region at about 8.40am.

LifeFlight said the man fell from a pile of hay bales after allegedly being hit by a falling bale during his work.

The LifeFlight team joined forces with local QAS paramedics to provide treatment for the man’s chest injuries.

The man in his 40s was later airlifted to the Toowoomba Hospital in a critical condition.
