Man flown to hospital after falling off horse in south-west Queensland

A man in his 40s was airlifted to the hospital on Friday evening by the LifeFlight rescue helicopter following a fall from a horse.

The helicopter was called to a private property in the Western Downs region at 5:20pm and landed in a paddock adjacent to the incident scene.

The man sustained injuries to his pelvis.

He received treatment at the scene prior to his transport to Toowoomba Hospital, where he was in stable condition.
