Man flown to hospital after falling from shed roof in Queensland

A man was flown to the hospital by the LifeFlight aeromedical team following injuries sustained in a fall on Tuesday afternoon.

Reports suggest the man in his 40s was involved in roofing work on a shed when he experienced a fall, leading to injuries to both his head and abdomen.

The LifeFlight helicopter was called to a private property south of Miles at about 2.23pm.

The man was stabilised at the scene prior to being transferred to Toowoomba Hospital for additional treatment.
