OHS Daily News

A man has been injured in a chainsaw incident in southeast Queensland.

The man, believed to be in his 50s, reportedly injured his left leg with the chainsaw blade while he was felling trees on a Coalbank property Wednesday morning.

The LifeFlight rescue helicopter was assigned to the incident in the Toowoomba region and managed to land in a nearby field.

The man was treated at the scene and later airlifted to Toowoomba Base Hospital, where he remained in a stable condition.
