Man fatally struck by forklift at Sydney warehouse

SafeWork NSW is conducting investigations into the death of a man that occurred on Monday morning at a Sydney workplace.

Emergency services rushed to a warehouse in Matraville at around 5.30am due to reports of a worker sustaining serious injuries.

Police were informed that a 57-year-old male worker had been hit by a forklift.

He was attended to by paramedics, but he passed away at the scene.
