Man fatally injured, another in critical condition following work-related incident at Sydney construction site

A worker has been fatally injured and another seriously hurt in a job-related incident in northwest Sydney.

The incident occurred at a construction site in Carlingford around 9am on Tuesday.

The men are thought to have sustained injuries from concrete pumping machinery.

A man who is in his 40s was conveyed to Westmead Hospital, whereas the other man, who is in his 30s, was transferred to Royal North Shore Hospital.

One of the workers has tragically lost their life while receiving treatment in the hospital.
