Man dies in hospital after plummeting 6m from roof at NSW workplace

In a tragic workplace incident in northern New South Wales, a man has succumbed to his injuries in the hospital after falling from a roof.

The man was engaged in work at a museum in Gunnedah when he fell from a height of 6 meters at around 10:30am on Thursday.

The 60-year-old was given immediate care at the scene before being transported by air to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.

The police announced on Monday that the man had succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
