A man was flown to hospital by the LifeFlight rescue chopper following an incident involving machinery in central Queensland.

The rescue helicopter was sent to a private property in the Gladstone region at 11:30am on Thursday morning.

It is reported that the man in his 60s was operating a grader on a steep slope when the vehicle overturned.

Paramedics administered care for a leg fracture to the patient before he was transported by air to Bundaberg Hospital for continued treatment.
