Man airlifted by LifeFlight following fall from horse

The LifeFlight helicopter transported a rider to hospital after falling from his horse on Sunday morning.

Reports suggest the man was rounding up cattle on a private property in the Toowoomba region when the incident took place.

He suffered serious injuries to his chest.

The LifeFlight chopper was called to the scene just after 10am.

The man, aged in his 50s, was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital for more comprehensive medical attention.
