Man airlifted after ladder fall at Gatton

A man has been flown to hospital after falling from a ladder in South East Queensland.

The man, aged in his 40s, tumbled from a ladder while constructing a carport at a home in Gatton on Thursday morning.

Ambulance paramedics arrived at the scene first and administered preliminary care for a head injury.

The LifeFlight helicopter was called to the scene at about 7.25am.

The LifeFlight aeromedical crew provided treatment to the patient, who was subsequently flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital while in a stable condition.
