Man airlifted after chainsaw incident in South East Queensland
A man in his twenties has been flown to a hospital by the LifeFlight aeromedical crew after suffering a leg injury from a chainsaw incident in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
The LifeFlight rescue chopper was called to the scene on Wednesday and managed to land in a nearby clearing.
The LifeFlight critical care doctor and a flight paramedic from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) provided treatment before he was flown to Archerfield Airport.
Following this, QAS transported the man by road to QE II Hospital for continued care.
