Lithium plant receives improvement notice after WorkSafe investigation

WorkSafe WA has issued an improvement notice to a lithium plant in Kemerton after workers were reportedly exposed to toxic gases.

The safety regulator has instructed the company to install safety barriers to protect those working near the plant that is being commissioned.

WorkSafe launched an investigation in April following complaints about unsafe working conditions.
