LifeFlight transports woman to hospital following ATV incident

A female ATV rider was flown to the hospital by the LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter on Tuesday morning following a rollover incident in South West Queensland.

The helicopter was dispatched by Retrieval Services Queensland to the Maranoa region at 1:52 PM, landing on a dirt road on a private property.

The woman, in her 20s, was given care at the scene for suspected injuries affecting her arm and chest.

She was later flown to Toowoomba Hospital, where she remained in a stable condition on Tuesday afternoon.
