Latest key NT occupational health and safety stats published

According to recent statistics from NT WorkSafe, vehicle incidents accounted for the majority of workplace fatalities in the NT.

Published as part of the National Safe Work Month, the 2021-22 key work health and safety statistics snapshot shows seven people were killed at work during this period.

The figures reveal that Health and Community Services, Government Administration and Defence, Construction, Accommodation, Cafes and Restaurants, and Retail Trade are the top five industries with the highest rate of serious injuries in the Northern Territory.
