Injured quad bike rider airlifted from farm cut off by floodwaters in Queensland

An injured quad bike rider has been airlifted from a farm isolated by floodwaters in Queensland.

The man in his 40s suffered shoulder and chest injuries after crashing his quad bike on a farm in the Western Downs Region Thursday morning.

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked just after 11 am.

The man was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
