Gold Coast worker injured in construction site fall

A construction worker sustained severe head injuries following a serious incident in Coolangatta.

The man in his 60s plunged 4.5 metres after being hit by a concrete hose on Thursday morning.

Emergency crews used a caged crane to rescue the man from the work pit.

Ambulance paramedics provided immediate medical assistance before taking the man to the Gold Coast University for further treatment.
