Gold Coast woman suffers facial burns in workplace incident

A woman sustained facial and neck burns in a workplace incident on the Gold Coast on Thursday evening.

The incident happened in Surfers Paradise at about 6.45pm.

The injured woman was stabilised at the scene by Queensland ambulance paramedics before being transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
