Gold Coast mechanic hospitalised after arm gets stuck in truck bonnet

A mechanic was seriously injured after getting his arm stuck in a truck bonnet on the Gold Coast.

The man was working on his truck in Yatala on Sunday night when the incident took place.

Emergency crews treated the man in his 40s at the scene before transporting him to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where he was in a stable condition.
