Gold Coast man burned in welding incident

A Gold Coast man was injured in a welding incident on Monday afternoon.

The man, aged in his 20s, was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with serious burn injuries.

He was transported in a serious condition following the incident at Varsity Lakes just after 2.30 pm.
