Firefighter killed battling Portland blaze

A firefighter has lost his life while battling a blaze in Victoria’s west.

According to Victoria police, the 66-year-old man was attending a suspicious fire at a Portland property on Tuesday morning when he reportedly collapsed.

Paramedics administered CPR but he couldn’t be revived.
