Female rider flown to hospital after quad bike crash in South Burnett

A woman sustained injuries Saturday afternoon after rolling her quad bike in the South Burnett Region.

Emergency crews arrived at a private property in Merlwood shortly before 4:30pm.

According to a spokesperson for QAS, the woman in her 50s experienced injuries to both her head and arms.

She was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital to undergo treatment for her injuries.
