Fatalities spike in transport, postal and warehousing industry

Latest data from Safe Work Australia reveals that the Transport, postal & warehousing industry is still the most dangerous industry, with 35 on-the-job deaths so far this year.

The Agriculture, forestry & fishing industry follows with 19 fatalities, and Construction comes third with nine work-related deaths.

Electricity, gas, water & waste services, Other services and Public administration & safety have five fatalities each.
