Fatal occupational injuries: Safe Work Australia releases updated data
Recent data from Safe Work Australia shows that 60 Australian workers have lost their lives while working this year.
Transport postal and warehousing has the highest number of work-related deaths at 18, while agriculture, forestry, and fishing follow closely with 14 fatalities.
The construction sector saw 8 employees lose their lives, public administration and safety had 5 worker fatalities and mining experienced 4 fatal incidents.
