Farm workers urged to put safety first

This week is National Farm Safety Week, and FarmSafe Australia has released its Safer Farms 2023 report which reveals agriculture remains Australia’s most hazardous occupation.

The report shows 55 farm workers died on the job in 2022.

According to FarmSafe, 64% of these fatalities were caused by farm vehicles.

The organisation is running a tractor safety campaign during National Farm Safety Week.
