Falling gate kills worker in Victoria

A man has been crushed to death by a falling gate in the 13th workplace fatality in Victoria this year.

The incident happened on Saturday morning.

WorkSafe Victoria has launched an investigation following the death of a 59-year-old truck driver in Melbourne.

The safety watchdog said the man was trying to close a 12-metre wide sliding gate when it fell on him.
