Elderly man killed in quad bike crash at Springside

A man has succumbed to injuries sustained in a quad bike crash in central west NSW.

Emergency crews were called to the incident south of Orange on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the quad bike rider became trapped after the vehicle rolled into a dry stream bed.

Ambulance paramedics provided care to the 81-year-old man, but he unfortunately succumbed at the scene.

Police are probing the circumstances surrounding the crash.
