Elderly man dies in ATV incident in northern Tasmania

An elderly man has succumbed to injuries sustained in a crash involving an all-terrain vehicle in northern Tasmania on Tuesday afternoon.

The 83-year-old man passed away shortly after the incident at around 2pm in Lilydale.

Emergency services, including paramedics, quickly arrived at the scene; however, the man could not be resuscitated.

Tasmania police said they will thoroughly investigate the crash and prepare a report for the coroner.
