Driver injured after vehicle hits roadworks truck on the Gold Coast

A roadworks truck driver sustained minor injuries after a vehicle crashed into a bump truck on the Gold Coast on Monday night.

The vehicle smashed into the stationary dump truck at a Pimpama road worksite at about 11pm.

The driver of the vehicle also suffered minor injuries.

An investigation into the crash is continuing.
