Dark toll rolls on

Safe Work Australia has recently updated the 2022 work-related fatality figures.

A total of 74 work-related deaths have been reported this year.

Transport, postal and warehousing workplaces have recorded 31 fatalities, Agriculture, forestry and fishing 16 fatalities and Construction 6 deaths.

Public, administration and safety workplaces have seen five fatalities, while Electricity, gas, water and waste services have lost four workers.
