Crop duster pilot killed in Queensland crash

An agricultural plane crashed on Queensland's Western Downs on Monday morning, killing the pilot.

The aircraft crash-landed in a paddock near Chinchilla just before midday, according to police.

The pilot, a man aged in his 30s, suffered serious injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) will investigate the fatal crash.
