Construction worker hospitalised following incident at Surfers Paradise

A man has suffered injuries in a serious incident at a construction site in Surfers Paradise.

At around 7am on Tuesday, emergency teams were dispatched to The Esplanade in response to reports of a worker injury.

Upon reaching the scene, they encountered a man in his twenties who had sustained injuries to both his leg and head.

Paramedics attended to him at the site before transporting him to Gold Coast University Hospital
