Chris White set to continue his role as WorkCover WA Chief Executive Officer

OHS Daily News

The WA Government has officially announced that Chris White will continue in his role as Chief Executive Officer of WorkCover WA for another 5 years.

According to Industrial Relations Minister Simone McGuire, since 2017, Mr White has been in the position and has effectively overseen the enactment of the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023, which updates the workers compensation laws in Western Australia.

The Minister said Mr. White has been a vigorous proponent of upholding the integrity and stability of the Western Australian scheme throughout his tenure as CEO of WorkCover.

"I know Mr White will continue to do an excellent job and I look forward to continue to work with him to ensure vital support for injured workers in WA," the Minister said.
