Chemical leak at Perth school sends worker to hospital
A pool maintenance worker was transported to the hospital, and classrooms were evacuated after a chemical leak at a Perth school.
The incident happened on Monday morning when the cleaning contractor inhaled a ‘small amount’ of liquid chlorine that had spilled while he was working in the pool room.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the school shortly after the incident.
The contractor was conveyed to Fiona Stanley Hospital by ambulance paramedics.
