Charges laid against SA poultry company over workplace death

SafeWork SA has commenced prosecution action against a poultry company following the death of a worker last year.

The man died after being struck by a reversing trailer at the company’s Adelaide plant in May 2021.

SafeWork SA alleges the company failed to manage the risks associated with interactions between pedestrians and mobile plant.
