Cattle musterer flown to hospital after horse fall northwest of Brisbane
A horse rider suffered injuries after tumbling off a horse while mustering cattle in South East Queensland.
According to reports, the man in his fifties suffered a fall from his horse when his head struck a tree on Saturday afternoon.
The LifeFlight helicopter was dispatched to the Somerset region at 3pm, where it landed in a field close to the incident scene.
At the scene, the man was provided treatment for injuries to his head and neck prior to being airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for continued treatment.
