Brisbane worker critical after electric shock

A man suffered an electric shock at a workplace near Brisbane airport on Tuesday morning.

Ambulance paramedics were alerted to an incident involving an injured man in Pinkenba around 10.50am on Tuesday.

The man in his 30s was carrying out electrical work on the roof of a business when the incident happened.

Paramedics indicated that the man needed resuscitation before being rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in serious condition.

WorkSafe Queensland has been reached out for a response.
