Boy flown to hospital following ATV incident in south-west Queensland

A boy was transported by air to the hospital following an ATV incident in south-west Queensland on Sunday afternoon.

The LifeFlight helicopter was called to a private property in the Western Downs region, landing close to the scene at around 3:40pm.

The LifeFlight crew joined forces with local ambulance paramedics to perform intubation on the patient and provide treatment for severe head injuries.

He was flown to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
