Australian music star joins road safety campaign

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) has teamed up with Australian country music singer James Blundell to spread word about road safety.

“After touring for the past 35 years, I’ve clocked thousands of kilometres travelling right across the country,” said the singer.

“Along the way, I’ve witnessed and experienced my fair share of close calls, driving through both major cities and remote areas.”

NHVR Executive Director Michelle Tayler said the regulator continues to remind drivers to be extra careful around trucks.

“We are always looking for new ways to educate drivers, and so the NHVR is extremely excited to welcome James to the campaign,” she said.
